The recent media release from LGNSW states that the upcoming debate in the NSW Upper House is the last chance to introduce a licensing system into the new short-term holiday letting legislation governing operations such as AirBnB in NSW.

The Bill is part of a proposed new rules which would impose a blanket maximum 180-day cap in Sydney, but free regional and rural areas to impose their own cap of not less than 180 days.

There are a number of dividing opinions on short-term letting across Australia. What is happening in your region to manage short-term letting.

We look forward to continuing the short-term letting conversation at Convention in Tweed, NSW 23 – 25 October 2018.
