    • $77,052 plus statutory superannuation

    Council is seeking applications from a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to take on the role of Economic Development and Tourism Lead on a permanent full time basis.

    In this position, you will be:

    • driving the development and implementation of Councils Economic Development & Tourism strategy
    • leading and building on our emerging tourism sector at a local and regional level
    • strengthening the diversification of our agricultural sector
    • facilitating investment attraction, business growth and a regulatory environment conducive to development.

    You will achieve this by:

    • Applying your skills gained from your formal qualifications and/or extensive experience in economics, business, marketing, tourism or relevant discipline
    • Using your well-developed project management and strategic planning skills
    • Being a key influencer with political nous and a talent for communication and engagement
    • Being a well-organised self-starter who has an understanding of rural communities in an economic development and tourism context.
