  Visitation and subsequent economic impact have long been the primary reason for Government investment in major events. Whilst the benefits of event-driven visitation are clear and net, defining a Government’s success in events based on a single metric often sees event owners divert their resource away from their most important audience, the local.

  In this session, Stu will take you through how we got to the point where visitation has become the primary focus of our energies and put forward an argument as to why that needs to change.
