Australian Regional Tourism App
Last updated: 3/10/20205
Welcome to the Australian Regional Tourism (ART) App. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ART App and related services (the “Service”). By registering for or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The ART App is available to registered members of Australian Regional Tourism.
You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activities under your account.
The ART App provides registered users with access to:
Community forums and discussions
Regional jobs and opportunities
Project and industry information
Webinars and educational sessions
Blog posts and news
The purpose of the ART Community is to end isolation and facilitate connectivity across regional destinations, enabling members to share knowledge, advice, and best practices.
To ensure the ART Community remains a professional and respectful environment, members must follow these rules:
Profile Images – All users must upload a profile image. Where unavailable, a company logo may be supplied instead.
Respectful Conduct – Offensive language, harassment, or targeting individuals or organisations with criticism will not be tolerated.
No Selling in Forums – Selling goods and services (including linking to business websites or social channels) is prohibited in group forums. The “Professional Services” group exists specifically for this purpose. You may create a topic thread and promote your services there.
No Unsolicited Promotions – Do not tag or direct message members to sell goods or services unless they have explicitly invited you to do so.
Enforcement:
Breach of these rules will result in one warning from a community moderator.
A second breach may result in removal from the community at the discretion of the ART Board.
Membership fees will not be refunded in the event of removal.
If you receive unsolicited private messages, you may contact the community moderator for assistance.
You retain ownership of the content you post, but grant ART a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it within the community.
ART reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate.
All trademarks, logos, and materials provided by ART remain the property of Australian Regional Tourism.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. This explains how we collect, use, and store your personal information.
ART may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.
You may cancel your membership at any time, but fees paid are non-refundable.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
ART does not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of content, or that the Service will be error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ART is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Western Australian courts.
