On the 1 July Google’s Universal Analytics (UA) properties will stop collecting data and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) will become the platform for anyone using Google Analytics.  Around 6 months after July 1 you will lose access to to your universal analytics data.

GA4 uses a different data model to UA meaning that when you migrate to GA4 you can only migrate some of your historical data. By default GA4 will only store 2 months historical data.
