* The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the coronavirus outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern.
* The Australian Government has issued a travel health alert as a precaution, based on the latest and best medical advice.
* Australia’s travel advice to China is at ‘Level 4 – Do Not Travel’.
* Australia has in place temporary border restrictions for travellers arriving from China.
* These measures will be reviewed in 7 days.
* In Australia, there have been a small number of confirmed cases of coronavirus.
* The Australian Government is monitoring the outbreak closely.
* All Australian airports are open and, with the exception of flights to and from China, all international air services into Australia are operating as normal.
