Position Vacant: Economic Development Officer, Southern Downs QLD
The Economic Development Officer will actively support the delivery of business, economic and tourism development projects which underpins business growth, economic sustainability and employment throughout the Southern Downs region.
To be successful in this role you will have highly developed knowledge of commercial sector key success factors and the ability to implement programs within the region that support industry development. This will be supported by your experience in industry or economic development.

Pay Level: $62,043 – $66,232 per annum (Level 3)
Hours of Work: Full-time – 9 day fortnight
Southern Downs Regional Council is located within 2 hours drive of Brisbane in the Southern Downs and Granite Belt regions of south east Queensland. The region has excellent educational, health, sporting and recreational facilities with a growing population of approximately 35,800. The Council has a clear focus on growth.
