Position Vacant: Manager of Operations and Compliance – Mogo Wildlife Park
Australian Wildlife Parks, owner of premium tourist destinations, Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park and Mogo Wildlife Park, are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced individual at the picturesque attraction just 10 minutes south of Batemans Bay, Mogo Wildlife Park.
The role of Manager of Operations and Compliance will be responsible for the day to day operations of the customer facing departments including Ticketing, Food & Beverage and Retail. You will have the ability to actively lead and guide the Operations team to ensure the delivery of service and standards are continually met and improved, resulting in excellent customer service, product delivery and staff satisfaction. This role will be accountable for profit and loss associated to Operations department and a key performance indicator will be how you monitor and control productivity to the budget. You will have experience in resource management to aid your ability in driving revenue, utilising upselling techniques/merchandising and optimising opportunities by developing new ideas to refresh the services/facilities, that are cost effective to the business.
Planning and overseeing organisational change will form an integral part of this role to provide input on how to further enhance the operational services in line with brand standards and exceed budgeted expectations. This role will be responsible for ensuring staff are working efficiently and identify process improvement opportunities.
You will lead the Operations team in the forefront of safety and ensure compliance in all areas of operation. You will have experience in risk management, WHS Auditing and prior involvement in a Work Health and Safety Management Team.
