Position Vacant: Economic Development Support Officer
The Economic Development Support Officer will provide administrative support to the Economic Development Team in the delivery of business, economic, tourism and events development projects which underpin business growth, economic sustainability and employment throughout the Southern Downs region.
To be successful in this role you will need to have experience in providing administration support to a diverse team. You will be a self-starter with an ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and well developed skills in current computer software.

Status: Temporary – up to 12 months
Location: Warwick
Pay Level: $2,244 – $2,390 per fortnight (Level 2)
Hours of Work: Full-time – 9 day fortnight
Southern Downs Regional Council is located within 2 hours drive of Brisbane in the Southern Downs and Granite Belt regions of south east Queensland. The region has excellent educational, health, sporting and recreational facilities with a growing population of approximately 35,800. The Council has a clear focus on growth.
