The Role
Wollongong City Council is seeking Customer Service Assistants to support our services across our three tourist parks, at Bulli, Corrimal and Windang.In this role you will provide quality customer service and support to our team and customers of the parks. This includes being responsible for reception, taking and managing bookings, responding to written, phone and face-to-face enquiries and taking payments. You will also perform general administration related to reception.
We are looking to fill multiple roles, one being permanent part-time working 8 hours per week with the ability to work up to 35 hours per week as required. We are also seeking a number of casuals to backfill our roles on an as-needs basis.
These positions may require you to work at any of Council’s Tourist Parks. You must be available to work on a roster from Monday to Sunday and includes public and school holidays. The span of hours is between Monday to Sunday between 7.30am and 8.00pm.
Under Council’s Child Safety Policy, this position has been identified as involving sporadic or occasional contact with children. If successful for an interview, you will be required to complete Council’s Child Safety (Working With Children) Employment Declaration.
