About the Opportunity
Located in the heart of Port Macquarie, the Glasshouse is home to a theatre, regional gallery, performance studio, Visitor Information Centre, gift shop, conference and meeting facilities and heritage displays. The premier venue on the Mid North Coast is owned and operated by Port Macquarie Hastings Council.
The Marketing Coordinator is a member of the Glasshouse senior team and plays a key role in developing and implementing integrated marketing and communication strategies to enhance venue utilisation, increase event visitation, grow our audiences and deliver high quality cultural, community and commercial outcomes. To help us achieve this we require an all-rounder who can develop and deliver marketing initiatives across the whole venue. You will be a self-motivated team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills who is focused on delivering the highest standards.
On a typical day the Glasshouse Marketing Coordinator will:
- Write highly engaging content for the Glasshouse website and social media platforms that assists in the development of new audiences
- Develop and implement single ticket marketing strategies
- Develop and implement community/audience engagement strategies to support the successful delivery of the Theatre & Gallery programs
- Liaise with the graphic designer and marketing assistant to talk through projects and provide guidance

Remuneration
This is a full time, permanent role, with remuneration in the range of $77,120 – $81,807 per annum (depending on skills and experience), plus 9.5% superannuation. The role is 35 hour a week, with access to Council’s Flexible Working Hours policy.
