Position Vacant: Visitor Experience Officer – Retail

- Salary Range $68,463 – $79,776 pro rata + super
We are seeking a customer focused Visitor Experience Officer to deliver a welcoming and informative experience for visitors and locals looking for opportunities to explore Bendigo and support our local retail suppliers.
In this role your will you will deliver a commercial focus in the Bendigo Visitor Centre through the conversion of visitor interest into retail, accommodation, attraction, tours or ticketing sales. You will actively drive the growth and development of the Uniquely Bendigo store within the Bendigo Visitor Centre.
You will provide leadership and supervise the front of house customer service delivery on a day to day basis, ensuring all volunteers are briefed daily and a consistent, quality information service is delivered through agreed customer service standards focusing on enriched visitor experiences.
To succeed in this role you will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a range of stakeholders. Retail experience would be highly regarded.
As our Visitor Centre operates 7 days a week including public holidays, the successful applicant will be required to work on the days specified above (which will include public holidays).
A satisfactory police check is required for this position.
