The region is known for mining, agriculture and fishing, and for its rugged, ancient landscape. Tom Price is WA’s highest town, located right on the edge of the state’s second largest national park, Karijini.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Shire of Ashburton has an exciting opportunity to join the friendly team at the Tom Price Visitor Centre for the upcoming Tourist Season.
Reporting to the Visitor Centre Coordinator, this position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to all patrons of the Visitor Centre including providing information, booking services, and retail assistance, along with other administrative duties.
Our ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience and excellent communication skills, with a passion for promoting the beautiful region we call home. In this role you have the unique opportunity to positively influence visitors to our unique environment and help them create memories that will last a lifetime.
Availability for weekend work is a requirement of this role and hours offered are varied, based on seasonal requirements.
