The Opportunity
Awarded Employer of Choice in 2019 and 2021 in the Macleay Valley Business Awards, our Economic Development and Tourism team have a fantastic opportunity for a Tourism Development Officer to join their team on a temporary full time basis.
Reporting to the Coordinator Economic Development and Tourism, the Tourism Development Officer will provide high level tourism advice, research, project management and expertise in delivering projects and activities.
To be successful in this role, you should possess tertiary qualification in Tourism, Business, Economics, Marketing or similar, and/or demonstrated work experience relevant to the role. You should also possess experience working in the tourism sector, business, events or similar; experience in event management and project coordination; skills in social media and website tools; and strong analytical, research and written skills.
