The Growth & Prosperity Directorate of Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) encompasses a broad range of teams responsible for the Tamworth Country Music Festival and a range of other local events, the Region’s galleries, libraries, museums and entertainment venues, the Youth Centre, AELEC, the Airport and other community services as well as economic and destination development.
We are seeking an experienced administration professional to provide a comprehensive range of business support services for the Events Team within the Directorate.
The successful candidate will need to possess a Certificate III in Business, Events or similar, a current Driver Licence, and have experience in:
- supporting a team of events people;
- developing work priorities in a busy environment;
- delivering quality service to a broad range internal and external stakeholders; and
- identifying, analysing and resolving problems.
Applicants with experience in event coordination will be highly regarded.
This position has been classified as a Grade 9 with a salary of $1,094.10 to $1,183.90 per week for 35 hours per week. Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a Pre-employment Medical Screening including Alcohol & Other Drugs Testing.
