    Located 200km north of Broome WA, you will need to be prepared to live in a remote environment and as part of a small community. Onsite accommodation and meals are provided.

    Front Office Manager

    Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Front Office & Accommodation Manager (FOM) will be responsible for efficient day-to-day operations of the Accommodation & Front Office Department at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm or other locations as required. They are key in co-ordinating and communicating to ensure smooth daily operations across all Tourism areas (Accommodation, Sales, Tours and Food & Beverage). This is a full-time position.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Managing Reception & Reservation staff and creating a strong sales environment for all tour, accommodation, and tourism products.
    Managing Housekeeping staff, to ensure high, standards of presentation and guest satisfaction.
    Ensuring the accounts receivable for the tourism department are always current and up to date.
    Weekly rostering and scheduling.
    Ordering and stock control of housekeeping & stationery consumables to budget daily cash and banking reconciliations.
    Liaise with all tourism staff throughout the day to ensure smooth operation between all areas.
    Strong focus on cross-promotion and sales of all Cygnet Bay products & services.
    Motivate the team to meet and exceed KPI’s and work within budget constraints.
    Display a confident and friendly manner towards tourists with excellent customer service.
    Always ensuring staff’s adherence to OH&S procedures.
    Ensuring tourism products and services are always of a high standard.
    Assisting with marketing and promotions.
    Assisting with product development.

    Essential Skills & Experience

    Proven experience in a similar role.
    Strong sales experience.
    Excellent communication & customer service.
    Solid organisational skills & time management.
    Good computer literacy.
    Manual driver’s license.
    Current First Aid Certificate.

    Desirable Qualities

    Experience in RMS, MYOB & Fareharbor.
    Previous experience in working in a remote location.

    This position is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient management and running of all aspects of our Front Office & Accommodation Department. It includes working a flexible roster with weekend work expected.

    Due to the seasonal nature of the department, this role is heavily hands-on in our low season and all members of the team are required to fulfil the duties necessary to ensure the smooth running of the business.

    The position is on a full-time annual salary. With annual leave taken in the low season.
