Finalists announced for Banksia National Sustainability Awards
Finalists were announced today for the 34th Banksia National Sustainability Awards – Australia’s longest running and most prestigious sustainability awards.
The line-up features several finalists in Sustainable Tourism Award category including:
- Blue Derby Pods Ride, an off-grid eco-luxury adventure mountain biking experience in Tasmania that has an emphasis on giving guests ‘flow’
- TRC Tourism, who developed the Pacific Sustainable Tourism Policy Framework to support sustainable transformation of the Pacific region’s tourism sector in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
- Busselton Jetty Inc, who aims to educate and inspire people to be stewards of the marine environment
- Fun Over Fifty, who has a vision to be recognised as the most sustainable tour operator in Australia for over-50s travel
- Passions of Paradise, who runs Great Barrier Reef tours with a goal to turn tourists into conservationists
