  The updated Australian Export Awards categories, eligibility criteria and supporting documents are now available. Check out exportawards.gov.au and start your preparation ahead of applications opening via the online portal.

  How do I become the Australian Exporter of the Year?

  1. Apply in your local State or Territory Export Awards
  2. Win in one of the 13 national categories in your State or Territory Export Awards
  3. Automatically progress as a national finalist in the Australian Export Awards
  4. Win in your category at the national ceremony in Canberra
  5. You are now in the running to become the Australian Exporter of the Year

  Key dates

  • Tuesday 2 May 2023 – Applications Open
  • June – Applications close (please refer to your State or Territory program closing dates) June – State and Territory judging
  • July – National judging
  • September/October – State and Territory Award Ceremonies; National finalists announced
  • Late November – National Awards Ceremony.
