Economic Development Officer, Mackay Regional Council

Undertake project work aligned with Council’s Corporate Plan and economic development strategiesDevelop and nurture strong networks, partnerships, and relationships with internal and external stakeholdersResearch, compile, and prepare economic development materials including reports, promotional materials, economic data, articles, and web-based content
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Qualification in Economics, Arts, Business, Marketing, or a related fieldExperience in building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, small businesses, other government levels, and the communityProject coordination experience, meeting targets within set timeframes, and ability to work autonomouslyProficiency in Adobe Suite and economic modelling tools like REMPLANAbility to plan and deliver project outcomes within agreed timeframesCurrent Queensland “C” class driver’s licence
