Chris Moore is co-Founder and Director of Sailors Grave Brewing. Together with his wife& business partner Gaband their 3 young kids they live on Gab’s family farm on the coast between Marlo and Cape Conran. Sailors Grave Brewing is located at Dunetown–a farm-based brewery and hospitality venue on the Far East Gippsland Coast. They make beers that tell stories about the landscape, people and produce of their unique location.

Connie is a passionate storyteller and tourism advocate with her heart firmly anchored on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula.
Her early years in the family’s catering business laid the groundwork for a career dedicated to developing tourism experiences that genuinely enrich her region.

David Jochinke
President of National Farmers’ Federation
David Jochinke, better known as ‘DJ’, is a third generation dryland mixed farmer. DJ’s family property in the Wimmera, Victoria, produces broadacre crops and finishing prime lambs.
He has been a passionate farmer advocate since his Diploma of Applied Science (Ag Services) at Longerenong College. DJ was elected as President of the National Farmers’ Federation in October 2023 after serving as Vice President and Director.
 DJ is a past President of the Victorian Farmers’ Federation, is a Board Member of Grampians Wimmera Mallee Water and current chair of Grampians Wimmera Mallee Tourism.

Dr Paul Grimes PSM
Dr Paul Grimes brings diverse public sector experience to his role as the Chief Executive Officer of Austrade, spanning senior appointments across state, territory and federal levels of government.
In addition to previously serving as Secretary of the NSW Department of Treasury, and NSW Coordinator-General for Environment, Energy and Science, he is a former Secretary of the Australian Government Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities, and Secretary of the Australian Government Department of Agriculture.

Drew Kluska

Fred McGrath Weber
Fred McGrath Weber is a farmer, agritourism operator, and community leader based in Canberra. His family lives and works at Majura House, also known as Majura Valley Farm. The farm combines heritage significance with innovation, producing lamb, vegetables, and eggs for leading restaurants and direct farm-gate sales. In March 2025, the farm’s sunflower field drew over 25,000 visitors and was showcased nationally by Tourism Australia to promote Canberra.

Ina Ansmann
Originally from Germany, Ina moved to Australia to study marine biology and zoology, completing her PhD in 2011. She then branched out into the tourism industry, working as a naturalist and guide in Queensland for several years. In 2019, after deciding it was time for a tree change, Ina and her husband purchased a property in Tasmania that included an established truffle farm, which they now operate as an agritourism business, offering on farm accommodation, tours and experiences.

Janelle Gerry
Managing Director, Macadamias Australia
With over 65 years of family heritage in agriculture, second-generation owner Janelle Gerry has guided Macadamias Australia into a vertically integrated agri-business encompassing macadamia orchards, value-added processing, and a thriving agri-tourism destination. Under her leadership, the company exports its premium, Bundaberg grown macadamia retail macadamias internationally. Passionate about storytelling and sustainability, Janelle enjoys connecting retailers and consumers with their unique brand story and with their agritourism visitor experience.

Josh Donohoe
Josh Donohoe is an experienced tourism professional and Founder of Creative Tours, an award-winning business that showcased the best of the Sunshine Coast and Noosa through food, drink, and local experiences. With a strong background in food and agritourism, he has represented the Sunshine Coast at major tourism events and worked closely with government, tourism bodies, and local producers to position the region as a leading food and beverage destination. Now serving as a Director on the board of Visit Sunshine Coast, Josh continues to champion authentic storytelling and collaboration across the industry through his new ventures, Second Rodeo Solutions and Sunshine DMC.

Katherine Faull
Katherine has a background in biological and environmental sciences, public health, science communication, and quality management and assurance. She has worked in higher education and the medical device industry, and most recently within the disability sector.
Katherine and her husband, Justin, moved from the Adelaide CBD to the Adelaide Hills in 2017 with the specific goal of planting a truffle farm and establishing an agritourism business.
Katherine is passionate about human connection to nature and food production, and hopes her own truffière in the Adelaide Hills can help facilitate such experiences for many visitors into the future.

Kay Tommerup
Kay Tommerup is a dairy farmer in the Scenic Rim, Southeast Qld. She and her husband, Dave, have transformed their 6th generation farm through agritourism and innovation. With their son, Harry, now joining the family business, they are embarking on a journey of regeneration for their land and their farm business model. Kay attributes their confidence to embrace change and diversifying to their move into agritourism over 15 years ago, bringing with it a change in mindset and renewed belief that small family farms play an important role in the agricultural landscape of the future.

Lester Marshall
I started my career as a farmer on the land and have produced milk, beef, lamb, wool and grain. I shifted into the aquaculture industry in the late 80’s and started my oyster farming career.
I have been oyster farming in coffin bay for the past 30 years and have been involved in all aspects of the industry. Having built the business up from nothing to some 300 tons of oysters a year, distributing them throughout Australia and the world. I was a director on the Eyre regional development board for 9 years and helped develop a dynamic regional brand for EYRE PENINSULA. 

Mahlah Grey
Mahlah Grey is a passionate farmer working alongside her husband and family at The Pines in Kiama. She blends her background in equine science & education with hands-on experience in dairy farming and food production. With a strong focus on agritourism, Mahlah plays a key role in connecting visitors to the land through farm tours, workshops and immersive educational experiences.

Matt Waller
I’m a fourth generation fisherman and a first generation tour guide. I studied in agriculture/aquculture management. I have always been in family and small business. Married with three highly spirited outdoor adult mates. We all have our roles and i know my place. With the role of war and finance covered by my wife, I am head of the department in innovation and strategy.
I have a hands on practical approach to management and put my greatest stock in our human recourses.

Mitch Coveney

Paul Birch
Paul joined Willie Creek Pearls over a decade ago as General Manager – Broome.  When he first joined, the business’s access to pearl shell quota was limited to a small amount specifically issued for the purpose of tourism.  Shortly after joining the company an opportunity presented for the business to invest in units of commercial quota and infrastructure, allowing them to obtain one of 17 rare Wild Stock licenses in Western Australia.  Paul’s role evolved alongside the company’s growth and diversification, and he was instrumental in integrating commercial pearl farming activities with tourism.

Sarah Longden
Sarah is a Certified Australian Economic Developer and town planner with over a decade of experience in Local Government, working across economic development, strategic planning and development assessment. She currently the Secretary of the South Australian State Practitioner Network of Economic Development Australia and an active member of the Planning Institute of Australia. She has qualifications in both International Tourism and Agriculture along with Urban and Regional Planning. At Alexandrina Council, she has led the development and implementation of key initiatives including the Heritage Alexandrina Strategy and Action Plan 2023–2030, the first of its kind for a regional council in South Australia, and the Langhorne Creek Discovery Trail Project, which has been successful in securing $7.06 million in federal funding under the Regional Precincts and Partnerships Program. Sarah has had a long-time passion for agritourism, having previously worked in the sector and realises the opportunity that it presents for both operator and consumer.  Sarah has a unique perspective, viewing agritourism and business development through both planning and economic lenses. She is excited to share insights from her work and connect with others who are shaping the future of agritourism across Australia.

As Secretary of Station Stays SA, Sharon McInnis is a passionate advocate for agritourism and sustainable growth across South Australia’s outback. She and her husband established Flinders Bush Retreats in 2013, transforming their fifth-generation sheep station near Hawker into an award-winning tourism business offering self-contained accommodation, eco tent glamping, and bush camping. With over a decade in tourism, Sharon continues to champion excellence, collaboration, and authentic outback experiences.
