East Coast Tourism, one of four Regional Tourism Organisations in Tasmania, is seeking to appoint a CEO for the next three years that is passionate and driven to provide strategic vision, whilst at the same time delivering operational plans to see the strategy realised. Applicants may come from a diverse background in business, marketing, economic development or similar and will have a sound understanding of building a strong, vibrant and sustainable visitor economy.

Knowledge of Tasmania is not essential, however a willingness to become immersed in the regions beauty, a contributing member to industry on the East Coast and more broadly as an advocate for the region as part of the state-wide tourism network is.

A competitive base remuneration package will be offered ranging from $112,785 to $117,165, negotiable with the successful applicant. An annual 7.5% bonus subject to performance review is in addition to the base package. A fully maintained vehicle is available in the organisation with private use subject to negotiation, along with other equipment and provisions.
