Gibson is now seeking a Digital Marketing & Sales Assistant to support and be part of our Direct-to-Consumer team.
Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in Digital Marketing or Media, or a recent graduate in these fields.
- Preferably a tertiary qualification in either Marketing, Media or Communications.
- Experience in graphic design and web CMS software, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and WordPress.
- Understanding and prior experience in social media and knowledge in how the different platforms can be leveraged.
- Experience working with Retail POS/CRM software.
- Strong copywriting skills.
- Strong work ethic, well presented, highly creative and have a willingness to learn and self-educate.
- Be willing to work in a small team where roles are flexible at times.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Own the Gibson Wines digital marketing and social media space. Create and manage the social media content strategy inclusive of development of content, scheduling posts/stories, copywriting and engagement.
- Work with the Direct-to-Consumer Manager to develop the email marketing strategy, leading the creative development of EDMs that are in line with the Gibson Wines brand pillars.
- Assist in the function, development and marketing of Gibson’s subscription-based Wine Clubs.
- Manage the Gibson Wines website, leading design, content and analytics.
- Assist in the development, marketing and execution of events – both on site (cellar door) and off site (wine trade shows, dinners, and collaborative activities).General design and branding support to produce content and collateral aligning with the Gibson brand pillars.
- Contribute as a member of the Direct-to-Consumer team, including being part of a rotating cellar door roster.
