A permanent opportunity now exists for a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead and manage the Alice Springs Desert Park, an inspiring portrayal of Australia’s central desert environment that seamlessly blends the plants, birds, animals and people of our arid regions within one, tourism and conservation facility.
As Director of the Desert Park, you would be responsible for all aspects of the Park’s operations, nature-based recreation, tourism and conservation programs, including the management of animal, horticultural and veterinary services to provide excellent standards of care for wildlife, and enriching visitor experiences.
The successful applicant will provide direction and leadership to the Park team and ensure that the Park operates to positive revenue and maximum potential as a major tourism and conservation facility in a changing and dynamic environment.
