    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and skilled Administration Support Officer to provide high quality assistance to the Economic Development Unit of the Southern Downs Regional Council. Reporting directly the Unit Manager you will use your superior customer service skills to provide service to both internal and external clients on behalf of Council. You will promote economic development and tourism within the region, and must be prepared to work the occasional weekend or after hours shift to ensure that Council is able to maximise its efforts in assisting the community.

    To be successful in this role you will have:

    • Experience in customer service
    • Excellent communication skills
    • A “Can Do” attitude with the ability to work under pressure
    • The ability to manage time effectively and to operate in an autonomous manner

    Pay Level $2,488.46 – $2,650.46 per fortnight (Level 2) + superannuation.

    In accordance with Council’s Enterprise Agreement and the relevant Award.
    Pay rate dependent on relevant skills and experience.
    Status Permanent , Full-time
    Hours of Work 72.5 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight or as negotiated
    Employment Base Stanthorpe or Warwick, Queensland
