Southern Alpine Resort Management Board’s (“the Board”) objective is to provide a product and service, at Mt Baw Baw and Lake Mountain, that exceeds the expectations of our visitors at all times during both the winter (white season) and summer (green season) months for the purpose of increasing our visitation numbers significantly all year round and improving the quality of our offerings.

Position Description:
The General Manager, Lake Mountain Alpine Resort (GM LMAR) will work together with the CEO and be responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of the Board’s strategic objectives and plan, that works towards; sustainability, enhanced year-round visitor activities, and, experiences. The position will have a high degree of autonomy, within the bounds of delegated authorities, to work toward the achievement of the strategic objectives under broad direction of the CEO. The GM is responsible for all reporting related to LMAR providing concise reporting to the CEO and Board, regarding activity and achievements. The GM is expected to report independently or in collaboration with key stakeholders. Customer service and satisfaction is important as is ensuring that customers are safe using our products and services. The incumbent will ensure best practice standards at all times.
