The Role
The Group GM Marketing will work with stakeholders to develop, implement, track and optimise our marketing system with the aim of meeting strategic objectives. The role will add significant value across our parks, B2B network and community business units with a particular focus on revenue optimisation.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Contribute to organisational strategy, in particular, customer insights, journey, experience and revenue
- Work with stakeholders to optimise peak revenue and extend shoulders
- Systemise digital content and customer review response strategy and execution
- Work with stakeholders to create effective scorecards and insights to consistently improve customer experience
- Lead and contribute to the development of our brands, fuelling the growth of our wholly owned holiday park network (Discovery Parks), our rapidly growing licensed network (G’DAY Parks) and loyalty program (G’DAY Rewards)
- Drive a culture of customer led thinking, actively educating the business around customer trends, behaviours, and insights to create a truly customer led business
- Lead the development of Discovery Parks CX strategy and implement a program to create a cohesive experience across the sales, marketing, and service functions
- Support the growth of G’DAY Rewards as it expands its partner network and increasingly becomes the key driver of repeat visitation
Your Experience
Your commercial acumen and industry experience combined with relevant Tertiary qualifications and continuous personal improvement are essential. You are a natural leader with strong strategic, creative, and analytical capabilities.
You will have a proven track record in developing effective strategies and business plans, combined with customer data analytics, NPS & insights to measure and deliver change and performance improvement driving customer engagement, profitability & growth. You will be capable of effectively managing all financial, people and commercial aspects of a business while maximising use of resources within budget constraints. You will be invested in staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
You will possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, autonomy, initiative, flexibility and attention to detail to be successful in meeting the business demands at Discovery Parks. Your naturally upbeat and open style will fit our cultural values. You will have a highly organised mindset with the ability to assess the urgency of work allocated to you by various stakeholders.
