Position Vacant: Industry & Product Development Officer
Tourism North East is looking for a passionate Industry & Product Development Officer to join the team. Working within Tourism North East, this role presents an opportunity to play a pivotal role within the organisation and support regional tourism in Victoria’s High Country.
Reporting to the Industry and Product Development Lead, the purpose of Industry and Product Development Officer, is to deliver research and program content through briefing sessions that will support tourism businesses to evolve their offering to meet the expectation of visitors, leverage digital marketing channels and build business resilience.
A fixed-term contract (until January 2023), the position is based in Mansfield and will play an important role in building a strong and viable tourism industry and offering that aligns with the long-term strategic direction of the region, and grows the High Country’s position as a leading regional tourism destination.

Tourism North East is the regional tourism Board for Victoria’s High Country, charged with leading strategic supply and demand driven tourism initiatives that deliver strong outcomes to the local visitor economy.The organisation operates across the key areas of regional marketing, industry development, infrastructure and product development, strategic planning, advocacy and research, and works collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to drive visitation, yield and dispersal throughout the High Country.
