  Inquiry into local government sustainability | RAI survey now open

  The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Regional Development, Infrastructure and Transport will examine local government sustainability in a new inquiry launched on 11 April 2024. You can read the media release via this link.

  The Regional Australia Institute (RAI) intends to make a comprehensive submission to the Inquiry, and is asking regional, rural and remote LGAs to share their experiences and ideas in this short survey to inform the submission.

  The survey will be followed by a webinar in April, where RAI will unpack the results and share research which LGAs may find helpful when penning their own submissions.

  Submissions to the Inquiry will now close on 31 May. Survey submissions at this stage will will on 3 May.
