Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Manager Economic and Tourism Growth is responsible for the facilitation of economic and tourism growth for the City of Port Lincoln and building a high-level professional network with internal and external stakeholders including the community.
It is essential that you have relevant experience in a similar role and a tertiary qualification in either Business, Economics, Tourism, Marketing or similar. You will be expected to be an effective leader, project manager and strategist with an economic development and tourism focus. This will require exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse group of stakeholders. Whilst not essential, it is preferred that you have experience working in Local Government.
