Position Vacant: Manager Tourism and Events, City of Mount Gambier
The Manager Tourism and Events will have responsibility for the provision of leadership, direction and management for the operations of Tourism and Events including the key services of tourism development, marketing and promotion, events development and management, and visitor information services. The role will actively work towards the achievement of strategic Council objectives, while monitoring and responding to daily operational demands.
The successful candidate will form innovative and collaborative partnerships with relevant industry, State and Federal Government and other stakeholders to establish the City of Mount Gambier as the key event and tourism destination in the region.
This position is offered on a full time fixed term (5 years) basis, classified at Level 8 (currently $112,143.72 – $119,486.64) of the SA Municipal Officers Award and Council’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.
