    Phillip Island Nature Parks (Nature Parks) is offering an exciting career and lifestyle opportunity for a Marketing leader to join our team of Conservation and Eco-Tourism professionals in the idyllic location of Phillip Island. The Nature Parks is an inspiring workplace, motivated by the purpose ‘to protect nature for wildlife and inspire people to act’. This is achieved through the delivery of conservation programs on Phillip Island and abroad, as well as the operation of successful Eco-Tourism experiences on Phillip Island, including the internationally renowned Penguin Parade.

    The Marketing and Communication Manager is an influential leader responsible for the development of Phillip Island Nature Parks brand as a Conservation and Eco-Tourism leader on a local, National and International level. The role’s commercial focus requires new and innovative international and domestic marketing opportunities that grow visitor numbers and yield across the organisations portfolio. The position fosters strong relationships with Australian and Victorian tourism bodies as well as key customers.

    To be successful in this position you will need to address the following criteria:
    – Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business Management;
    – Demonstrated success in marketing a high profile brand, and managing Communications for multiple audiences;
    – Exceptional people management skills, with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a group of individuals with different skill sets;
    – Tourism, hotel or event sales and marketing management background,
    – Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired business outcomes;
    – High level of personal credibility, strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative and inclusive working style; and
    – Experience with yearly budgets and business plans.
