  New NT funds for Indigenous tourism projects

  Indigenous businesses and organisations in the Northern Territory can apply for grants of $30,000 to $100,000 under Round 7 of the Territory Government’s $1 million Aboriginal Tourism Grant Program. Funds are available to upgrade or build new infrastructure or to develop new tourism accommodation on country, cultural tours or experiences. Apply before 31 May. Aboriginal tourism is a significant drawcard for visitors to the NT. The NT Aboriginal Tourism Grant Program comes under the NT and Australian Government’s Strategic Indigenous Tourism Projects, which will invest $6 million into Aboriginal tourism projects in the NT.
