Awards Absolute Pty Ltd’s quest is to support Local Government, private sector and not-for-profit organisations throughout Regional Australia to thrive by winning state, national and international awards and maximising strategic advantage from those wins.
To achieve our goal we provide absolutely everything necessary to win awards, promote that success and host successful awards programs at a local level that lead winners into state, national and international awards.
We work with LGAs, RTOs, Business Incubators and Chambers of Commerce to empower and upskill local hero businesses to achieve growth and success through a series of cost-effective options. We also support those responsible for regional and local awards programs, offering a suite of services that make successful awards hosting hassle free.

After working as a journalist and in cultural tourism management, I established an event and marketing agency in 1994 that evolved into Awards Absolute, the world’s first holistic awards agency. For the past 25 years I’ve been building awards knowledge and producing awards events.
Our Strategy Director, Kim Morgan, has tourism in her veins too. She was until recently the joint owner and driving force behind a resort in the heart of the Sunshine Coast. After having lived, worked and traveled across the globe for many years, she returned to Australia to be close to family. Like me, she also found awards entrancing, which led to her resort winning Queensland and Australian Tourism Awards. These wins kick-started her journey as an awards judge which has seen Kim be the Chair of the prestigious Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, a Queensland Tourism Awards judge, and an International Judge for two global awards programs. Awards Absolute jumped at the chance to have Kim join the team a few years back.
We have watched proudly as 650+ deserving clients from many different industries have walked onto the stage to collect their trophy. We’ve produced more than 100 awards submissions for tourism organisations and also assisted dozens of awards hosts.
Our office is on the Sunshine Coast – a place that was very much part of Regional Australia when we started operating. That choice was deliberate because I love living in a regional area and travelling the breadth of the country to help others who are also passionate about Regional Australia.
