Regional Tourism Manager (Fleurieu Peninsula) McLaren Vale, Adelaide SA
Contributing $663m to the Visitor Economy, the Fleurieu Peninsula is South Australia’s largest visitor economy and is known for its famous wine regions, spectacular coastlines and the amazing experiences the region has to offer.
As the Regional Tourism Manager the purpose is to develop a collaborative and innovative tourism industry that delivers a world-class visitor experience, resulting in increased visitation, visitor nights and spend, regional dispersal and return visitation. Led by the 2023 – 2025 Fleurieu Peninsula Regional Tourism Strategy, the Regional Manager works closely with the FPT board, South Australian Tourism Commission, local council partners and the tourism industry the role to support regional tourism product development and leads destination marketing for the region. This supports a sustainable and profitable tourism industry that achieves visitor expenditure of more than $663m annually and delivers ongoing regional employment growth.
