What we are looking for:
Gympie Regional Council has an exciting, permanent position that aims to support the Coordinator Tourism and Destination Development to grow the prosperity of the region by encouraging and identifying opportunities, focusing on tourism and events.
Under the direction of the Coordinator Tourism and Destination Development, the Senior Officer Partnership and Events will coordinator the delivery of Gympie Regional Council’s Tourism and Events Partnership Program.
This role supports the Coordinator Tourism and Destination Development to attract, retain and nurture events that deliver social and economic benefit for the Gympie region, particularly in the high priority areas of sport, agricultural tourism, music, arts and culture and business activation events.
