South Australia: Regional Event Fund applications open soon
The Regional Event Fund aims to strengthen the regional events calendar by encouraging the development of new and innovative regional events, grow existing events, and drive increased visitation and economic stimulus to the regional economy.
There are two categories in the Regional Event Fund:
- Established Event Funding: events that can demonstrate a strong track record of growth and a strategy for event innovation will receive from $20,000 up to $50,000 per year in financial support for up to three years.
- Development Event Funding: new and emerging events that can demonstrate potential for growth and development to become an annual addition to the event calendar will provide $5,000 up to $20,000 per year in financial support for up to three years.
The 2024-25 Regional Event Fund will open on Thursday, 15 February 2024 and will be accepting applications until 5pm, Monday, 6 May 2024.
