  As part of the Economy and Culture team, the Tourism Marketing and Development Officer is responsible for the development and promotion of tourism in the Shire through marketing, product and industry development initiatives.

  The role involves the development, implementation and review of strategic shire and regional tourism plans, establishing and maintaining key relationships across the industry, and actively developing opportunities to promote our Shire as a destination of choice.

  To be successful in this role you will have relevant experience and/or qualifications, demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships, and proficiency with Microsoft, website, digital marketing and social media programs.
