About the business

Mudgee Region is loved as a contemporary country destination, infused with art and music, serving quality produce and wine and shaped by our strong sense of community. We aim to connect across the region to support the sustainable growth of our visitor economy in keeping with our vibrant yet intimate setting.

Mudgee Region Tourism is a growing independent not-for-profit organisation, established in 2001. The organisation is overseen by a board of eight volunteer skills-based directors. Mudgee Region Tourism is managed by a CEO and supported by a progressive team of tourism, marketing, business development, retail and visitor experience experts.

Principle Objective

As a customer-facing destination brand ambassador, effectively + passionately promote the Mudgee Region to achieve visitor, partner, and stakeholder objectives. Actively promote local produce and merchandise to meet retail sales targets. Provide marketing support at administration level to the Marketing Executive.

Specific Accountabilities

Be present with visitors and stakeholders, by providing engaging and informative insights and information about local tourism assets, striving to achieve (or exceed) retail sales targets. Support the Marketing Team with administrative tasks and destination promotion deliverables.
