Hi I’m Chloe, Tourism Product Development Officer at Indigo Shire, situated in the beautiful Victorian High Country. My career started in events and project work, when I worked in Local Government for 4 years for the duration of my degree on a sponsorship program. Once graduated, I relocated to Sydney to work for Tourism Australia as an Event Coordinator. Following a short hiatus due to COVID-19, I returned to Tourism Australia as an Event Manager before deciding my heart was in the country and successively got a role at Indigo Shire.

I am a naturally positive, enthusiastic and determined person. I thank these attributes for many opportunities which have come my way in my career to date. My various roles have seasoned my skills in stakeholder engagement, collaboration and communication.  I hold strong computer and software skills including EDM and web development, CRM, procurement software management and daily use of the all-important Microsoft suite. Creative thinking and research skills have been critical in all my roles, as well as frequent analysis and reporting. The nature of project work and the events industry, as well as the climate of the events and tourism industry since COVID-19 has meant I become accustomed to adapting and pivoting on short notice and learning to utilise my broad skillset in a number of different roles.

Out of the office I love spending time with my partner, family, friends and golden retriever, Daisy. I enjoy getting out in nature for an adventure, camping, walking, travelling and trying new cafes or restaurants.
