Thanks for Sharing @Linda .. the NSW Top Tourism Awards are now out and nominations open on 22nd March with final submissions closing on 26 April. As this is a new award for NSW launch date for the main tourism awards is likely to be in late March/early April so people can make a staggered approach to both.

Agree @Linda. The analogy of all tourism operators within one region being part of the same ‘show’ is such an important one, leads to effective clustering opportunities, not matter what is happening ‘backstage’. Now more than ever regions needs to be united, to give the best stories, and being your authentic self.

This is SUCH a helpful article, @Linda. Especially in an area dominated by passionate volunteers and committees who love their event, their town, but are challenged by the mechanics of managing a successful and sustainable event.

PS I did have a little chuckle about robbing the marketing budget to up the entertainment overspend 😆 😬
