Yesterday for #scienceweek2024 we officially opened Cyril’s Lab a reproduction of the Labotory where Cyril Callister invented Vegemite. Our inaugural scholarship recipient Samuel Varjabedian created a science experiment using #vegemite to create #vegemitecavier for all the guests attending including state MP Joe Mc Cracken.

Last week we met with David Weeks son of Allan Weeks the composer who wrote the famous jingle #happylittlevegemites he had lots of wonderful stories to share with us and kindly signed a copy of the original manuscript for our museum in Beaufort.
