Paul was the Head of Regional Tourism and Strategy for Visit Victoria from 2017 to June 2021 working closely with Regional Tourism Boards, industry and government. He has been involved with the tourism and transport sector for over 30 years with qualifications in Business, Special Event Management, Public Relations and Marketing.

In July 2021, Paul started the Visitor Economy Tourism Consultancy specialising in visitor engagement, industry development, business mentoring, destination planning and marketing. He’s an advocate for the transformation of visitor information to visitor inspiration.

Paul continues to contribute to the ongoing development and innovation of the tourism industry in his new consultancy. He is a keen traveller, a musician, enjoys a bit of dark tourism and is a strong believer in laugher really being the best medicine.
