Simon Beaton and his partner Shiela De Castro are the directors and owners of dc&b advisory.
Simon is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years’ experience in finance, management and consulting roles in lutruwita / Tasmania and Naarm / Melbourne, having started his career at Deloitte. Shiela has a degree in banking and finance, a certificate in accounting and bookkeeping, and since emigrating to Australia from the Philippines has worked in tourism sales, bookings, tour logistics, website development, finance, payroll and HR support.
Simon and Shiela have most recently worked together at Park Trek Walking Holidays, a national hiking tour operator, and have end-to-end experience of operating a SME ecotourism business.
Simon and Shiela established dc&b specifically to advise, support and provide services to SME sustainable travel and tourism businesses. They are truly passionate about sustainable travel – inside and outside of work.
Shiela and Simon are excited to work with, learn with and help support regional tourism businesses.
