Through our recent survey, ART was able to gain a clear understanding of the demand to develop and promote regional Australia through Agritourism, with the survey results clearly demonstrating the importance of the sector to the regional visitor economy.
A significant majority of survey participants (84%) indicated that Agritourism has been identified as a sector for development and is in their top five, or is seen as a key sector for future growth for their region.
The majority of survey respondents (99%) indicated they would like ART to engage in collaborative projects that focus on growth in the sector into the future and based on this feedback we will continue our advocacy efforts in this area.
