Outdoors NSW & ACT Limited has announced that it will be hosting a biennial Outdoor Industry Summit starting this year in June. The summit will be held on the North Coast of NSW from the 28th to the 30th June 2023.
The summit aims to distinguish itself from other events and conferences by bringing topical and current issues to the surface, bringing together key decision-makers from across the industry, and helping to create positive change for the sector.
The event is open to all levels of the outdoor volunteer and workforce, and all sectors of the industry. It promises to be a fully inclusive event that is relevant for everyone who attends.
According to Lori Modde, CEO of Outdoors NSW & ACT, “The Outdoor Industry Summit is a unique opportunity for everyone in the industry to come together, network with each other, and collaborate to drive positive change. We’re excited to be hosting this event and look forward to welcoming everyone to the beautiful Lennox Head in NSW.”
Dr Phil Hamdorf, President of Outdoors NSW & ACT, added, “This is an important event for the industry, and we’re thrilled to see such early and strong support from Destination NSW, Paddy Pallin, and Skills IQ. We’re confident that the Outdoor Industry Summit will be a great success and will help shape the future of the outdoor sector in Australia.”
The event will feature keynote speakers, including Mark McCrindle, a social researcher, futurist, and TEDx speaker. McCrindle will present on the key areas that will shape our landscape in the near future, providing information that will help attendees make better decisions for their own future. There will also be panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities.
