  If you run a small tourism business, it’s often hard to find the time and information to build the digital side of your business.

  This site is designed to help you find the best ways to learn digital marketing, social media, data and analytics and other digital business methods to enhance your small tourism business.

  We hope to help you understand more about creating and sustaining a digital presence for your business and also introduce you to many methods to take you business into the digital 21st century.

  The tourism sector is made up of many different types of businesses, tour operators, travel agencies, accommodation, food and hospitality services and support organisations. What they share in common is the use of digital services for an ever widening group of services covering marketing, customer relationship management, online and mobile apps, data and analytics, financial services, and new and evolving products and services.

  Who are we?

  This site captures the outputs of the 2021 APEC digital workshop series titled ‘Exploring innovative digitalisation for tourism MSMEs in developing APEC economies: What can we learn from tourism’s response to COVID-19?’ This online workshop series and accompanying report has been commissioned by the APEC Tourism Working Group.

  These workshops, organised by the Australian APEC Study Centre, were held online in April, 2021 with the intention to bring economies from the APEC region together to explore how micro, small and medium size enterprises have used digital tools and business methods to innovative in tourism – especially in response to COVID-19.
