Be part of the future of Australian tourism
Tourism is changing and a team of Australian universities want your help shaping a more sustainable and resilient industry.
Five universities are working to design and implement national solutions to help the industry recover. This team is seeking funding through the Federal Government’s Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) program and needs industry participation.
Tourism, hospitality, and events (THE) Future CRC will collaborate with industry, governments and agencies including Austrade to:
- grow future markets
- reinvigorate destinations
- embed technological innovation and
- secure the workforce long-term.
Be part of THE Future
The team’s recent collaboration with SeaLink Marine & Tourism gave actionable insights into holiday preferences and perceptions of tourism post-COVID. They’re looking for more opportunities for industry, government and academia to co-create solutions to shape THE Future.
Tourism and transport businesses, peak industry bodies and local governments are invited to contribute by emailing thefuturecrc@curtin.edu.au. They would love to hear from you to work together to help Australia’s tourism and transport sector recover and grow sustainably into the future. Not yet ready to get in touch?
