    We are looking for three (x3) outstanding Box Office Attendants to join our renowned state-of-the-art facility, on a casual employment basis.

    The Role:

    The purpose of a Box Office Attendant is to assist with the administrative procedures and day to day operations of the Box Office and administration functions of the MECC. In this role, you will sell tickets for a variety of events, assist in poster preparation and mail outs, as well as providing excellent customer service.

    To be successful in this role, you must have a high level of written and verbal communication skills and the ability to relate to the general public in a calm, friendly and helpful manner. You must be able to work independently, exercise initiative, think laterally, self-motivate and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Although not essential, the ideal candidate will have previous experience in a client-orientated role, an office support role and/or experience in electronic box office sales.

    Blue Card – It is an essential requirement for this position to hold a Working with Children Blue Card. Under Queensland legislation, you must hold the Blue Card prior to commencing employment – No Card, No Start policy.
