    About the business

    Falls Creek Resort Management (FCRM) is a Victorian statutory authority with responsibility for the development, management, promotion and recreational use of Falls Creek Alpine Resort. We employ up to 100 staff during the winter period and focus on delivering a unique alpine experience to all visitors.

    About the role

    FCRM are looking for a motivated, experienced person to undertake the role of:

    • Marketing Officer

    This is a full time position and will report to the Marketing and Communications Manager as part of a high achieving and dynamic workforce at Falls Creek in the unique and pristine Victorian Alps.

    This position plays a key role in the development and management of key promotional and communication tools for FCRM, in particular, website, social media, photography/videography, campaign and collateral management for the resort to support the Marketing Strategy.

    A passion for the great outdoors and alpine environment is a key driver for success in the role.

    Skills and experience

    • Web based and Content Management System (CMS) experience, in particular Word Press.
    • Proven and accomplished skills in SEO and SEM, and in using a variety of software programs such as Microsoft Office, Content Management, Photoshop and InDesign.
    • Photography and Videographer skills.
    • Demonstrated understanding of current marketing and communications activities, trends, tools and principles, and the ability to collect, analyse data and present information in a meaningful manner.
    • Preferred completion of a diploma, higher education or pertinent education/training
    • Demonstrated ability to manage varied and conflicting demands to agreed standards, timeline and budgets.
    • High level of planning and organisational skills with an ability to think creatively and strategically.
    • Outstanding communication skills and demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service, internally and externally.
    • High level of motivation, initiative, flexibility and passion for events.
