Supporting Regional Tourism Recovery on the NSW North Coast
The $50 million Recovery for Regional Tourism program helps targeted Australian regions to:
- keep and create jobs
- improve tourism product offering
- increase demand, and
- attract visitors.
Destination North Coast in NSW received funding to develop and promote the upcoming North Coast Festival of Flavour on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th March 2022, which is planned to go ahead despite the recent floods.
The producers, farmers, restaurateurs, brewers, distillers and winemakers of this lush region are serving up the very best of the North Coast with a series of exciting events and experiences.
From Byron Bay to the Tweed, Lismore to Richmond Valley, the Coffs Coast to the Macleay Valley, and from Port Macquarie to the Barrington Coast, visitors will discover long lunches, wine tasting, brewery hopping, flame-grilled outdoor feasts, seafood cruises and much more.
The ‘open weekend’ festival will provide an abundance of options of ‘foodie’ experiences from the farm gate to local markets and world class eateries.
